No fine print games. Just clear terms.
We keep our policies straightforward so you know exactly what to expect before we start. Evori Digital believes in transparency, plain language, and honest agreements.
What does a transparent project actually look like?
No vague timelines. No surprise fees. We outline every phase before we begin, so you always know what's happening and what's next.
Payments, Deposits & Project Costs
## 1. Project Pricing Website pricing will depend on the individual project, including the size of the website, required functionality, integrations, content requirements and additional services selected. Before commencing work, Evori Digital will outline the agreed project scope and associated pricing. Costs may include: - Website design and development - Mandatory deposit - Remaining project balance - Domain registration and renewal - Website hosting or platform subscription - Business email services - Booking system integrations - Ecommerce functionality - Applications, plugins or integrations - Premium fonts, imagery or digital assets where required - Ongoing website management - Additional pages or functionality - Additional work requested outside the original project scope The client will have the opportunity to discuss these costs before proceeding. ## 2. Mandatory Deposit A deposit is required for every Evori Digital project. The deposit amount will be disclosed before the client agrees to proceed. No design or development work will commence until the required deposit has been received. Payment of the deposit confirms the client's intention to proceed with the agreed project. The remaining balance and applicable payment due dates will be communicated before work begins. Where a client cancels a project after work has commenced, the deposit may be retained to cover time, planning, design, administration and work already completed, subject to the client's agreement and applicable Australian Consumer Law. ## 3. Remaining Project Balance The remaining project balance must be paid according to the payment schedule agreed upon before commencement. Unless otherwise agreed in writing, Evori Digital may withhold final website launch, transfer, handover, account credentials or other final deliverables until outstanding Evori Digital project invoices have been paid. ## 4. Third Party Costs Websites often rely on services that are not owned or operated by Evori Digital. Examples include: - Website hosting platforms - Domain registrars - Booking systems - Business email providers - Ecommerce platforms - Payment processors - Plugins and applications - Analytics services - Premium software - Stock imagery or licensed digital assets These costs may be separate from the amount paid directly to Evori Digital. Where applicable, known third party costs will be explained before the client commits to the project. Evori Digital does not control third party pricing, policies, availability or future price changes. ## 5. Hosting & Website Platform Fees A website requires somewhere to be hosted or published. Depending on the platform selected, this generally involves an ongoing subscription. Where the provider offers the option, the business owner may choose between monthly billing or annual billing. The available options, estimated costs and relevant differences will be discussed before launch. A website hosting or platform subscription is not necessarily a one time cost. If a required subscription is cancelled or expires, the website may become unavailable.
Ongoing Payments, Domains & Integrations
## 6. Payment Grace Period Where Evori Digital directly invoices the client for an ongoing service, payment must be made by the stated due date. A maximum grace period of 7 calendar days after the due date will apply unless otherwise agreed in writing. If payment remains outstanding following the grace period, Evori Digital may pause the relevant ongoing service until the account is brought up to date. Where the client pays a third party provider directly, the third party provider's own payment deadlines, grace periods, late fees and suspension policies will apply. ## 7. Late Payments Repeated or outstanding late payments may result in: - Suspension of ongoing Evori Digital services - Website management being paused - Additional administrative or late payment charges where previously disclosed and lawfully applicable - Termination of ongoing service arrangements in cases of continued non payment Evori Digital is not responsible for website interruption caused by the client's failure to maintain required third party subscriptions or accounts. ## 8. Domain Names A domain name is separate from the website itself. Domains generally require periodic renewal and may carry an annual or other recurring cost. The client is responsible for maintaining required domain payments unless Evori Digital has specifically agreed to manage this on their behalf. Failure to renew a domain may result in the website and associated business email becoming inaccessible. A domain that expires may potentially become available for registration by another person or business. ## 9. Business Email A professional email address using a client's domain may require a separate paid subscription. For example, owning a domain does not automatically mean professional email hosting is included. If business email setup is requested, Evori Digital will explain any known associated third party costs before proceeding. ## 10. Payment Processing & Ecommerce Fees Where a website accepts online payments, bookings, deposits or product purchases, the payment processor or ecommerce provider may charge transaction fees, processing fees or subscription fees. These fees are determined by the third party provider and are separate from Evori Digital's website design fees unless specifically stated otherwise. Evori Digital does not receive or control third party transaction fees unless explicitly disclosed. ## 11. Booking Systems & Integrations Connecting a booking system to a website does not necessarily include the cost of the booking platform itself. Clients remain responsible for subscriptions and fees charged by their chosen booking, CRM, ecommerce or other external systems. Some integrations may also require a paid plan from the relevant provider.
Content, Revisions & Site Management
## 12. Client Supplied Content Unless content creation is included in the client's selected service, the client may be responsible for supplying information required to complete the website. This may include: - Business information - Service descriptions - Pricing - Images - Logos - Contact information - Policies - Testimonials - Product information - Legal information The client is responsible for ensuring information supplied to Evori Digital is accurate and that they have permission or appropriate rights to use supplied images, logos, text and other material. ## 13. Project Delays Website completion depends on timely communication and receipt of required information. If Evori Digital is waiting for content, approvals, account access, images, business information or decisions from the client, the project timeline may be extended. Evori Digital is not responsible for launch delays caused by outstanding information, approvals or access required from the client. ## 14. Revisions & Scope Changes The agreed project price applies to the agreed scope of work. If the client requests additional pages, substantial redesigns, new integrations, additional functionality or work outside the original scope, additional charges may apply. No additional paid work will be undertaken without discussing the additional cost with the client first. Minor revisions and the number of included revision rounds should be outlined within the client's individual project agreement or package. ## 15. Website Management After Launch Website design and ongoing website management are separate services unless explicitly included in the client's package. Once a website has been completed, future changes may incur additional charges. This can include: - Updating prices - Adding services - Changing imagery - Adding pages - Updating written content - Adding new integrations - Layout changes - General website maintenance Clients who require regular changes may choose an ongoing management service where available.
Third Parties, SEO, Performance & Security
## 16. Third Party Changes & Compatibility Third party platforms occasionally update their systems, features, pricing, APIs or integrations. An integration that operates correctly at launch may require future updates if a third party changes its service. Evori Digital cannot guarantee the permanent functionality or availability of services controlled by external providers. Work required as a result of future third party changes may fall outside the original website project and may incur an additional fee. Any applicable cost will be discussed before additional work is undertaken. ## 17. Search Engines & SEO Where basic SEO setup is included, Evori Digital can structure and optimise elements of the website to support search engine visibility. However, no specific Google ranking, search position, amount of website traffic, enquiries, sales or business growth can be guaranteed. Search engine rankings are determined by external search engines and numerous factors outside Evori Digital's control. SEO is also an ongoing process and should not be considered a guaranteed one time result. ## 18. Website Performance & Results Evori Digital designs websites to provide businesses with a professional and accessible online presence. However, Evori Digital cannot guarantee that a website will generate a particular number of leads, bookings, enquiries, sales, followers or revenue. Business performance depends on numerous factors outside the website itself. ## 19. Website Security & Backups Reasonable care will be taken during the creation and management of websites. However, no website, hosting provider or online system can be guaranteed to be completely immune from outages, cyber incidents, technical failures or data loss. Backup availability may depend on the client's hosting platform and selected plan. Any additional security, backup or recovery services required by the client should be discussed separately. ## 20. Browser, Device & Platform Differences Websites may display slightly differently across phones, tablets, computers, browsers, screen sizes and operating systems. Evori Digital will aim to provide a responsive and functional website across commonly used modern devices and browsers. Exact pixel for pixel appearance across every possible device or browser cannot be guaranteed.
Legal, Ownership, Cancellation & Acceptance
## 21. Legal Policies & Business Compliance Depending on the business and website functionality, a website may require documents such as: - Privacy Policy - Terms and Conditions - Refund Policy - Shipping Policy - Cookie information - Disclaimer - Consent or data collection information Unless specifically included within the agreed scope, Evori Digital does not provide legal advice. The business owner remains responsible for ensuring their business, website content, policies and practices comply with laws and regulations applicable to them. Where legal certainty is required, clients should obtain advice from an appropriately qualified professional. ## 22. Ownership & Account Access Ownership and access arrangements for domains, website platforms and third party accounts will be discussed as part of the project setup. Where practical, important business accounts should be registered using information controlled by the business owner. Clients should securely maintain their login information after handover. Evori Digital is not responsible for access issues caused by clients changing, losing or incorrectly managing credentials after handover unless ongoing account management has been specifically agreed upon. ## 23. Cancellation of Required Services If a client cancels a hosting plan, domain, platform subscription, application or other service required for the website to operate, some or all website functionality may stop working. Evori Digital is not responsible for maintaining a live website where the client has cancelled or failed to pay for services required for its operation. ## 24. Future Price Changes Evori Digital may update its own pricing for future services. Existing agreed project pricing will not be changed without discussion where work has already been contracted at an agreed price, except where additional work or services are requested. Third party companies may change their pricing independently at any time. Future third party price increases are outside Evori Digital's control. ## 25. Communication & Approval Important project decisions, approvals, additional work and costs may be confirmed in writing through email, invoice, proposal or another agreed communication method. Clients are responsible for reviewing information provided before approving work or making payments. ## 26. No Hidden Costs Evori Digital's approach is based on transparency. Before a client commits, we will explain the known costs relevant to their project, including: The mandatory deposit, project balance, hosting requirements, domain costs, known third party subscriptions and selected optional services. If something changes during the project that creates an additional cost, the client will be informed before the additional paid work proceeds. We want clients to understand not only what their website costs to build, but what it may cost to keep it operating. ## 27. Acceptance By paying the required deposit and proceeding with an Evori Digital project, the client acknowledges that they have had the opportunity to review the project scope, pricing, ongoing costs and relevant third party requirements. The client also acknowledges that some external services carry ongoing fees and that these costs may continue after Evori Digital has completed the initial website project. Clear costs. Clear expectations. No hidden surprises.
